Are we all pretending this is over, or can we stop acting like toddlers and try and flatten the curve? America, I know it’s your birthday and all tomorrow, but can we agree to disagree over how some of ya’ll been acting? Let’s stop complaining about our freedoms, and not being able to do things, and try and keep ourselves and other safe. This bonus episode is about COVID. My friend Marianne Halloran, a data scientist, has been tracking COVID-19 since DECEMBER. I interviewed her on April 15, 2020 — what she said then still resonates now, except WE ARE STILL IN THIS.
We discuss being a foreigner in America, feeling like you don’t deserve what you earn, and being a female in the science world. As a data scientist for Bio, I respect the FUCK out of her. She is an amazing person, with so many good things to say. I am proud to be her friend. Imposter syndrome impacts everyone in a different way, and I love to tell my guest’s stories. I am so thankful that I am in a position to share these beautiful stories with my listeners.

About Please Don’t Kick Me Out: Please Don’t Kick Me Out is a podcast about nothing, and everything all at once. This podcast is about ‘imposter syndrome’, and exploring the idea that no one really feels like they belong. I will interview my friends and people that inspire me, to understand what success looks like to them. Does anyone really have it figured out? Let’s find out.
