Please Don’t Kick Me Out – Episode 68 – Featuring Gary Briggs of Aunt Sadie’s Candles

Jun 25, 2021 | 0 comments

Today’s episode features Gary Briggs, co-owner/owner of Aunt Sadie’s Candles out of Vermont. Gary and I talk about everything under the sun, including getting out of your own way. Gary has a great perspective on life, and how to overcome obstacles. Gary really makes my heart smile. Aunt Sadie’s Candles is offering 20% off site-wide throughout June for pride. Use JUNEPRIDE at checkout to receive 20% off your order.

Two really cool opportunities I mentioned:

  • PlayBingoBonanza.com – Every Monday at 5 Pacfiic/6 Mountain/7 Central/8 Eastern with Miss Richfield. If you want to be a guest reach out!
  • Amber Lemay Live! Amber’s producer Russ is always looking for interesting people to interview. Think you have what it takes? I am sure you do. Reach out to Russ for more information.

PRIDE LINEUP: This is an inclusive podcast about imposter syndrome is by definition: is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being found out to be a fraud. If you’ve listened to my podcast for a while, you know that is absolutely not how I definite it. I define it as the feeling of not fitting in or being able to truly be who you are authentically for fear of rejection. For the month of June, and Pride 2021, I wanted to honor some of the LGBTQIA+ voices I have heard from. In this lineup, we have gay, pansexual, nonbinary, and more. There are so many colors on the pride flag that can represent pieces of who you may be. For me, imposter syndrome super impacted my support of pride. I didn’t like being put in the cis-gendered straight box. I am non-binary, with both male and female energy. This year, and every year, I am proud to be queer.

UPDATE: We are on an interview hiatus. My husband and I are moving OCONUS to Hawaii. To be considered for the future, please visit www.pleasedontkickmeout.com
